What do you do?
I'm a freelance web designer/developer. I'm also pursuing a diploma in animation from Arena Multimedia.

What's intrigued you about advertising?
Advertising has always been a part of human life. In a day, we normally see thousands of ad impressions. It is something which we cannot ignore even if we want to. So the competition is to be better than the rest. And that's what intrigued me about advertising: the need to make something outstanding.

How did you hear about BrandPotion?
One of my friends asked me to check out BrandPotion on Orkut.

How does it feel to have won a prize on BrandPotion?
Great! It feels great. Winning is always a great feeling.

Tell us about the thought process behind your winning entry.
The idea behind the ad "One world, one education" was to emphasise the term "Connection", which I consider a very important aspect in the future of education. It is the connection which I think can neutralise the varying standards of education around the world.

 

 

What software do you use to create your ads?
I use Adobe After Effects and Illustrator for video elements, and for sound-editing and creation I use Mixcraft.

Which has been your favourite brief to work on-in terms of which was the most fun, and the most interesting?
I took part in both "Education in 2020" and "The Biggest Creative Team in India" Education in 2020 undoubtedly was more interesting as I got a chance to interact with people here to manifest my point.

What changes would you like to see on BrandPotion?
The best thing about creativity is that it's always advancing, improving and evolving, and that's what BrandPotion is about. I would like to see a lot more competitions and lot more competitors coming up.
