Burberry Body Facebook The wave of Facebook -based advertising continues, as still more advertisers get on the bandwagon this month. The new campaign is for Burberry Body, a new fragrance from the UK-based fashion brand. The campaign's targeted at Burberry's 8-million-strong Facebook following, offering free samples of the fragrance to those who sign up to test it. Fans can sign up via the Burberry Body tab on the brand's Facebook page.

The best part about Burberry's offer, besides the fact that it's absolutely free, is that it's open to Burberry's international audience as well, and not just their UK- or US-based fans.

Burberry's campaign is something that's been tried and tested, albeit not on as big a scale. Oscar de la Renta launched his first fragrance in a decade earlier this year, giving out 25,000 samples in three days, and boosting the brand's Facebook following by 40%. Burberry's campaign has already added 400,000 followers in 5 days.
