Introducing In-video Advertising
2011, Sep 02
Brands now have another tool to market with,
as MediaMind Technologies introduces the concept of in-video advertising,
enabling brands to place their ads in running videos. The service is called
Dynamic Video advertising and it's different from pre-roll and post-roll
advertising.
Brands can choose specific areas in the
video to place their ads and it can be in any form, static or interactive. It
could be anything---a picture, logo, text or even a video clip. The ad will
appear in the clip itself, made to look like part of the video. So if a video features
a billboard by the side of the road, ad can be placed on that billboard itself.
These in-video ads are clickable, and users
will be taken to the brand's website. Marketers also have the option of
changing these ads in real-time, based on their target audiences. They can also
prepare different sets of ads based on their demographics.
Would you be bothered by in-video
advertising? Or would you not even notice it? Let us know in the comments
below.

Yes, I would notice it if the brand visual is catchy enough.
