Hi team
I am taking part in this, first ever print ad i am gonna make. all i have is word power, what all media you require in that ad? does it have to be in multimedia format or what software do i use to create one such ad
?
Please guide. Thanks

@boyishfriend You can submit your ad as an “concept ad” i.e., your ideas in a text. On concept ad upload page in ‘Claim’ field enter suitable title for your ad and in ‘Text’ field enter the description of the ad.

Thanks for the help. but , i need to upload a certain characters in it to make it more appealing.so, i just mention the characters and the idea and you will get it uploaded on the framebox page taking from the way i say it?. if i mention the use of pencil in it. my ad will have a pencil in it?.i m sorry , i might be bugging you big time. because i see these ads done wonderfully well with the use of pictures, animals and stuff.

@boyishfriend : As per brandpotion regulations we cannot help you in creating ad, however you can upload additional material as an attachment in ‘concept ad’ upload form.

Hi BP. i have posted a concept ad. May i please ask , how would one be judged for the prize? is it purely on the concept? or on the number of votes one get ? or both ? if that is so. then how do i get votes for my concept?. Thank you.

@boyishfriend – Thanks for your participation on BrandPotion. For Frameboxx’s Out of the Boxx competition concept with highest number of votes will be awarded. You can get more votes by sharing your concept ad on facebook and twitter by using share function on your ad page. You can also invite your friends from Gmail/Yahoo/Msn to vote on their favorite ads on brandpotion. After signing in click on ‘My Page’ tab. On ‘My Page’ bottom left you will find steps to invite your friends on BrandPotion.

I have the following questions. Could they please be answered?
1. What should be the image dimensions? Should it be portrait or landscape? Could you atleast tell what the aspect ratio should my image be of? I wouldnot like to lose points for an ad that is designed with awkard sizing and proportions.
2. Can the ad be designed with a slight amount of craft work done? Meaning suppose I design something, and certain parts of my ad need to be cut out for it to look perfect. Would that be possible or would I lose points?
3. How are entries evaluated? By a panel of judges or by Frameboxxx or by popularity (the ad which gets the highest votes wins?)?

1. You can submit Print ad in .jpg, .png or .gif format with maximum file size 10MB in portrait or landscape. You can choose your desired aspect ration but not too large.
2. You can use any of your creative skills to design ad, but your submission should be in .jpg, .png or .gif (not animated) format only.
3. For Frameboxx competition there are brand prizes selected by Frameboxx and BrandPotion panel of judges and community prizes for ad with highest community votes. For prize details visit contest page and click on awards tab.

When I logged in today I noticed that someone just uploaded an ad which is quite similar to how my ad is made. While my ad is ready, I have not uploaded in the interest of the competition and will upload it when a few hours are left. I hope I will not charged with stealing his concept or anything similar when the time comes for judging :)

HELP!
I have been trying for the past 20 minutes to submit my design but when I hit the upload button the pages just reloads. Now when I tried again I am being redirected to the home page and it showing competition closed.
PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME! I HAVE PUT IT 15 HOURS IN MY DESIGN AND IT IS NOT GETTING ACCEPTED.

15 hours of hard work and my entry is not being submitted because of your silly site. I had opened the upload page at 9:20. Uptill then everything was fine but when it came to uploading the entry it simply didn’t work.
AND VERY CONVIENIENTLY IT IS SHOWING COMPETITION CLOSED NOW.

Why are you not announcing the results or out of the boxx comp. Now how much time you want more.I think It was not a comp.It was just a idea to take different great concepts from us nothing else.
