An Indian Santa Claus is somebody from the middle class. He is a 50 something Government Servant who toils hard everyday to give his family all the little happiness that he can. He does not represent a state as such and could be from anywhere in the country. He has a wheatish complexion with stark wrinkles on the face and extremely droopy eyes. Even though he comes from a middle class background, he still makes it a point to dress up like Santa during Christmas and distribute gifts to the impoverished and underprivileged children. This is his way of saying,"All of us are equal and all of us deserve equal".
