Let the festivity soar!
Why should nature bear the loss of our irresponsible behaviour? Every year after the final day of Ganeshotsavl lacs of fishes die due to the immersion of thousands of POP made Ganesh sculptures into lakes, rivers and sea. These POP icons are decorated by chemical paints which release toxic elements and heavy metals like mercury and cadmium that make water polluted. Apart from this POP takes longer time to dissolve in water which is the cause of clog up waterways. These things are increasing year after year and affecting our environment badly.
